Understanding that we have to be the change we want to see, we are now starting a service of collecting peoples kitchen waste to do better for our environment.
If you would like to do your part please keep your organic matter separate from any plastic and anything non biodegradable, unnatural and lets put that waste to better use. We will take kitchen waste, cardboard, wood, grass clippings, leaves, etc. Drop off at The Guild service centre.

Things to keep out of your compost:
Diseased plants, Noxious weeds, Pet poo from non-vegetarian animals, Fish and meat scraps, fats, Dairy products, Cooking oil, Glossy or coated paper, Sales receipts and thermal paper, Sticky labels, Vacuum cleaner dust and dryer lint, Ashes from coal/ barbecue briquettes, Treated wood pieces or sawdust, Personal hygiene products, Plants treated with toxic pesticides and herbicides, soil and food with toxic chemicals, Large branches (unless they are mulched first), Citrus peels and onions.
